Nassagawaya Canyon

This is one of our favourite hikes.  From the Crawford Lake Conservation area to Rattlesnake Point and back.   The distance is close to 15 km.  You have to cross the Canyon, descending 160 metres and then up on the other side on a grade of 30 degrees.

It is beautiful at this time of the year, when the leaves are staring to change colour.  We bought pizza on the way so we had a nice lunch at a picnic table before the walk.  I have not been walking much so I was surprised when we managed the whole trip in under 3 hours.
