Around Roanoke, Virginia

This was not really a hike, but our pilgrim friends took us around their city, Roanoke in Virginia.

They took us first to the top of a hill that has the Roanoke's star.  Magnificent view of the city

With my young friend Tallulah 

The view of the city above and at the back is a peak near the left, that peak is McAfee Knob, the peak we climbed the day before.

Our Virginian peregrinas

Then, to the Museum of Art.  Not a very large museum but very interesting.

They have a really good collection of the works of Audobun

And then to the Virginia Museum of Transportation

Lots of Classic cars

And train engines
